Rita is a Master’s student in the Speech-Language Pathology program at SDSU, and is pursuing a bilingual Spanish-English certificate. She learned Spanish over the course of the last ten years and spent the last year and half teaching English for a bird conservation company in Southwestern Colombia. Rita plans to focus her career on supporting dual-language learners and their families, and contributing to quality bilingual research in the field.
