Patrick is a Master’s student in the Speech-Language Pathology program at SDSU. He has been learning Spanish on and off for many years since high school and is passionate about language. He learned to speak Bahasa Indonesia while living in Bali for nearly four years after finishing his undergraduate studies. He had not planned on continuing into graduate school until learning about speech-language pathology from a neighbor with aphasia. Patrick plans to focus his career on supporting clients with communication disorders of all ages in English, Spanish, and Bahasa Indonesia, and contributing to quality bilingual research.
