Spring is here! This semester, the BDC Lab remains actively engaged in our research projects, community outreach, and preparations for upcoming events.
We will continue hosting our monthly Vietnamese Storytime at City Heights Library, Mira Mesa Library, and Rancho Peñasquitos Library. Dates and times are listed in the photo.
The BDC Lab is also making consistent progress across our research projects. The “Assessment Tools for Vietnamese” and “Cognitive Processing in Diverse Learners” projects are expected to complete data collection and conclude data scoring. The Language Sample Transcription and Analysis project will proceed with transcription and begin data analysis.

The Bilingual Development in Context Lab is dedicated to investigating bilingual children who speak Vietnamese or Spanish at home.
